So basically it’s a house lost in the forest near Bordeaux. She was built in 1975, and nobody ever lived in it.
The octagon was a fountain with a monument in the middle many years ago. Nobody knows how it ended up being a concrete space.
I was first introduced to Confusion mag by a red bearded vagabond skate diy lord who slung me a mag after I’d shown an interest in his latest concrete job.
When Covid kicked in and we got furloughed and told to stay indoors, we were straight down the building. It was hidden away, no one could bother us and the weather was red hot.
Jacques Séguéla, a french politician once said “If at 50 years old you don’t own a Rolex, it means you messed up something in your life”. Yeah right… Enzo is quite far to be 50 yet (he’s actually only 19) and on the watch he doesn’t own, it’s only writing “NOW” anyway. Whatever, since over a year, this kid and his crew were digging, by hand, a fucking huge hole which is now probably one the best backyard pool in France ! And yep, those guys shot in one go ! God damn legends.
Canarias Tenerife has some new concrete.
