Concrete countryside mini ramp – Basque country

The plan is to go to a mini ramp built in the middle of nature. I met Diego with his girlfriend Erika and we drove to the place which is almost on the border with France. When we got there I found this concrete beauty, built at the bottom of a small valley…

Casa Maccaroni – mini ramp and guesthouse – Canary Islands

Casa Maccaroni is a guesthouse made for people who want to live in an international community, inspired from art, surf and skateboarding, surrounded by the Canary Islands environment. We comes from skateboarding and we restored an old and typical majorero’s farm. As DIY skateboarding carpenters, moved by real passion, we fixed this house to make a guesthouse where you can feel a true atmosphere, relax and have a skateboard session after the beach.

Builders’ Jam: PuraPura – La Paz, Bolivia

After the first day you could already see big progress. After two and a half weeks, with hard work, partying as a gringos do with all the locals, eating coca leaves, drinking coca tea, and of course a lot of downhill sessions, we were almost finished building the skatepark, with one of the best views in the world!

Milan: international skateboarding centre?

We’ll have the possibility to declare the municipality how we imagine our city.. .“european capital of skateboarding”: the delegates used similar words to describe their intentions. We don’t strive for that (also: what’s a capital?), but in the meanwhile we try to organize to begin the building of this utopia. The future is hard to see, but the present time is in the hands of whom is dedicated and brave enough to clench it.

Bergfest 2014 – Battle at the Monster Bowl – Münster, Germany

The annual Bergfest is one of the best skate contests in Germany, if not Europe. Although it is technically a contest, this year’s event was more underground and diy with less big name sponsors and not so concerned with handing out big checks to the winners, but more interested in everyone having a good time…

Gmunden miniramp session – Austria

After the contest “Rumble in the Park”, we stayed a couple of days more with Michi and skated around Gmunden… during a rainy day, we had a small session in the miniramp.

The Frankie Hill Interview

…When my knee blew up I would pray to die in my sleep every night for two years. The thought of not being able to push myself in skating was too much for me to handle at the time, I run on passion, when I have non left I feel like I’m already dead.

Bridge Life: The Story of KHVT

Back in March 2009 I was In Portland, Oregon and skated Burnside one morning before flying home to St. Louis, Missouri…. On the way home I couldn’t stop thinking about how we must have a bridge somewhere in St. Louis where we can build a Burnside style park. I got home and the next day my roommate told me to go to this bridge on Kingshighway Blvd. where some teenagers had been building skate obstacles….
