Danger Dave and the fire.

Ramp Jam 5 – Belgium

Koekie and the Knock Out Blocks crew put on their annual RAMP JAM in the countryside about 30 minutes from Antwerp, Beligum. The recipe the year is always the same: punk and hardcore bands, a sketchy ramp with as many gnarly features as possible, cheap beers, mayhem and destruction.

The Living Room – Germany

The hall existed since around 2008, after the owner of the house allowed skateboarding in the empty building. It all started with small basic obstacles, like curbs. Nothing special, because nobody thought that we could stay for such a long time there.

The Warehouse / Alter Street – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Everybody needs a place to call their own, and it sure helps if that place has pool coping. Getting a private indoor setup together is a giant pain in the ass, but the reward of skating a place that’s exactly what you want to skate is unbeatable. All I can say is- if you’re thinking about it, just go for it; its a lot to do but you’ll figure it out.

Telum Basement Bowl and Miniramp – Stuttgart, Germany

At the end of 2012 Alex Funk, head of Telum Skateboards and a few Stuttgart locals visited the former health ministry in Stuttgart and decided it could be a good place to build up something new to skate indoor in Stuttgart. The Skateboard Museum, also located in Stuttgart, was closing at the end of the year. So there was the possibility to rebuild the Museum Bowl into the new location.

Infernal Ramp: Cadiz, Spain

With a holy death and the devil there waiting on the ramp, the hordes of skaters were already preparing to enter the infernal ramp, the coven was served, and everyone would fight to get the keys of hell.

Bowl Attack – Bryggeriet – Malmö, Sweden (part 2)

Bowl Attack 6 is a three part scandanavian bowl tour surrounding the Vert Attack 6 in Malmö, Sweden, back in January 2012. While Vert Attack 6 was going on all weekend on the vert ramp at Bryggeriet, Confusion decided to check out the bowl session that wasn’t getting mobbed by every photo-videographer and his brother, along with the live webcast, contest announcing and undercover skate groupies pretending they were reporting on the event, like that what was going on at the vert ramp 20 feet away.

Baum’s Ramp – Aachen, Germany

“For more Concrete”, that was the slogan for the party last year. The plan was to build a mini with Pudi’s pool coping and have a party for more concrete.
After the party we kept the door open and had the ramp in the bunker and had a place to skate for the winter and we organized some parties and concerts. A skateboard cafe was open one day in the week. Over the winter, after some sessions, we switched some things at the mini for more really high speed lines and more fun!

Mooscrete: “The Barn” – Germany

10 years ago, old german vert ramp pro Bernt Jahnel moved in to a 250 year old farm house in the middle of the small village of Moos. He built a big miniramp in the barn and, not long after, a big vert ramp out in the forest. But there weren’t many sessions in the barn the last years he lived there. It was cold and dark and not many people were motivated to come out there.

Spring arrives in Köln, Germany

The first really nice “Springtime” weather hit Cologne and the locals at the Lohseramp came out in full force, like a reunion after a long, wet, drunken winter.
