Infernal Ramp: Cadiz, Spain

With holy death and the devil waiting on the ramp, the hordes of skaters were already preparing to enter the infernal ramp, the coven was served, and everyone would fight to get the keys of hell.

With skaters from many areas around spain, Sevilla, Basque Country, Toledo and throughout the province of Cadiz, a radical session was insured, and all had to go through purgatory before going to hell. Local skaters and veterans like Moski Merello were bursting with ramp tricks, the new school of the province like Pablo Marley, Carlos Rivera, Ruben Rueda, and Figue were fighting with the Valdela wall, Carlos Neira who showed up with incredible power, and it is an all terrain, Ruben Saez from Basque, leading rule in the Cadiz land for weeks throwing down blunt to fakies and tricks I saw there for the first time in my life. Tito of Puerto Real pulled airs and slides, Chiclana daggers like Alverto Velazquez, German and Lenguita were fanning the flames of Belcebur. Jerson started doing tricks and left us with our mouths open, because one thing is to do tricks on a ramp and another to make them on this giant barrier.

After passing through purgatory, the best skaters were headed straight to hell where they would have to fight to get to visit the devil, there were many tricks, there were a lots ofcrashes, spinouts and all types of slides that generated the ramp, and what was made was more radical than usual, and with death metal music that was playing, we could not stop slow down speed.

Once the rounds were over, the judges decided who were the Infernals this year – the best trick, Emilio of Ecija did a rock to fakie flip, to the fourth place was Alberto Velazquez, who hit a very sad backside air, Ruben‘s third wheel that hit a backside lipslide very stylishly, second Germán Periñán who rode that ramp a mile a minute, and in the first place, Jerson Ajenjo, who took the keys of hell skating the ramp and doing tricks that I never would have imagined seeing there, because this is like Wallenberg, you go, do a trick, and you can be the first to do it there, on a ramp that is almost 25 years old now.
