Wonderland diy loop in Christiania

It was early August and Wonderland’s 17th birthday was coming up on September 26th. We wanted to build more on the path along Wonderland and after seeing a bunch of fox trails, we wanted to have one all the way around Wonderland. Imagining and dreaming, we spoke about a full pipe (thinking they can’t be so expensive those used for draining), so I called our sewer guy…

Boa Vida bowl – southern Portugal

It’s just a dream that came true. We had to work a lot to accomplish this. We had the outstanding support from some special people that believed in it. But sadly we had to fight and we still do with lawyers because legal processes are against us. Because we are dreamers, because we live our dreams we should fight for them, but don’t take us wrong we don’t like to fight, it’s such a waste of energy, we like to love and we made it out of love, we fight it with love, but you know, love does not pay the lawyers and fines that the local police and the government gave to us and are still trying to destroy our dream…

The John ‘Dana’ Allison interview

Few people are “Classic” at the ripe age of 20. A “Classic” person is someone like Paul Newman in “Cool Hand Luke”, Clint Eastwood in “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly”, or a skateboarder like Alan Petersen or John Cardiel. A “Classic” skateboarder will roll up to a spot, pensively smoke a cigarette in the shadow, sip on a beer, and then quietly annihilate every obstacle in his path. John ‘Dana’ Allison is one of those people.

Weekend Defocus at Le Chai bowl in France

In early February this year, Jeremy, the owner invited the whole team Defocus Skateboards team to test the concrete. The bowl was just finished two weekends before, the pool coping adjusted, and a special product put on the concrete to clean it.

Torsoarama, DIY miniramp session at Malas rampas, is the session you cannot miss. It’s not a contest, it’s basically a perfect skating day. This year, we had it all: good weather, good food and good skaters!

Betongpark boys skating and creating in Norway

A few years ago on a one off build in Norway with a British company, I met a couple of awesome Norwegians with big plans. We kept in touch and soon after they asked me if i wanted to be involved in their Norwegian skatepark venture, for some reason they were under the impression I really knew what I was doing… – Daryl Nobbs

Otis’ pool – Charleston, South Carolina

It was the last session of the season for them before they fill it up for swimming this summer and taking their new rolling hotel / RV on the road. Evidently it is more expensive to keep it drained than filled, the water table is high and the pump runs constantly…
