It all started in Bretange, France in 2018 with a group of handy friends who had the idea in the back of their heads of building a pirate DIY…. after searching different spots, they ended up squatting an old barn, which at first was a total wasteland, but it had a perfect concrete slab white a roof on top of it!
For the expansion of the spot since the year before with crews from @beaulieudiy, @barbecuediy, and the guys from St. Jean de Maurienne (skate&create) the place is a private spot where events will be organized every year…

Wild, that’s the word to describe the weekend at Barbecue DIY, south of France. We were very lucky to be welcomed by Enzo, owner of this beautiful garden and maybe one of the nicest pools to skate in France. This event helped to finance the construction of the DIY.
We will enlarge the spot in different stages: cradle, snake run, big suspended curves, and then merge everything together with bigger, longer curves but that will need a significant amount of concrete so therefore a lot of money.
The story took place the 4th and 5th of June in the south of France. Next to Toulouse, in Villemmur-sur-Tarn, in an old pasta factory to mix food, music, art and skateboarding.
