Cachagua Land is a must ride! Unbelievable vibe, killer area and the best hosts around. Sweet thing is you don’t need to know anyone to get in, all’s you do is make a reservation and your guaranteed to sesh. Not sure if it is, but I believe Cachagua Land to be the only Airbnb DIY destination in the world?…
Here’s a few shots from last night at the bowl my friend Gavin just finished building. It’s called the Goat Bowl as coined by Rick Blackheart tonight.
Malmö DIY was the 3rd annual event at the Sibbarp skatepark in Malmö, Sweden. It’s not about the Sibbarp skatepark being D.I.Y., it was build by CONCREATURES, a skatepark construction company ran in Sweden by Dave Toms and Jezza from Australia. The D.I.Y. event focuses on things like grip tape workshops (hosted this year by Zarosh) and other small skater led organizations that are doing their own thing, big or small, without corporate funding. BBQ, bands, Servant shoes for sale on the hood of the Servant van.. you know… no corporate bullshit. Just a small skate event, everyone having a good time, with some full on skateboarding action.
Zarosh sent me an updated from his Cachagua Land DIY Project, deep in the Carmel Valley.
“The pool is ready, we just need some concrete. Donate to cachagua land and support the idea of grass roots skateboarding”

The Cachagua Land project is a DIY “skate park” that Zarosh has been working on for the last few years. People come out to the land, deep in the Carmel Valley in central California to bring concrete, help dig, build and skate the ever changing concrete contraption. The project is a work-in-progress as cinder blocks, rebar, parking blocks, man holes, and hundreds of bags of concrete are collected piece by piece and bag by bag.
