Even though we were in the thick of the pandemic this spot was safer than most – even with the assorted used needles, used sex toys, and crack heads hanging about… definitely a safe haven during a sketchy ass year.

11th street DIY located in the city of Tacoma, Washington held its second Spring jam fundraiser.
The project was launched in 2017 and most of what was accomplished there we learned on the spot. Beneft concerts have brought us donations, stone

So basically it’s a house lost in the forest near Bordeaux. She was built in 1975, and nobody ever lived in it.
The octagon was a fountain with a monument in the middle many years ago. Nobody knows how it ended up being a concrete space.
Rollerdamm DIY in Vienna didn’t waste much time asking for permission when they started turning a shitty, junked up ditch, well hidden underneath a freeway bridge, into a one of a kind little skate refuge.
I was first introduced to Confusion mag by a red bearded vagabond skate diy lord who slung me a mag after I’d shown an interest in his latest concrete job.
When Covid kicked in and we got furloughed and told to stay indoors, we were straight down the building. It was hidden away, no one could bother us and the weather was red hot.
This summer, an army of skate masons from all over Europe gathered in Chamrousse in the French Alps to voluntarily complete the third phase of construction of its DIY skatepark
