Alex – Individual Equality

In death, everyone is equal, and yet every death is individual. “Individual Equality” was the title Dleks (Alex Hasert) had planned for his exhibition before he met death on October 11, 2024. Artist, poet, skateboarder, friend, lover. Struggling with the world and full of love for his loved ones. Laughing into the abyss. These words can also be used to describe his works, often gloomy at first glance, but usually conceal another hidden side.

R.I.P. Ryan “Frenchy” Franciose

Frenchy was a skateboarder idolized by his peers. His unique take on skating and life was against the grain. From his loose ass, barrier shredding, trucks. To his odd music taste ranging from Kris Kristofferson to Yin Yang twins. He always had a cold Coors in his hand and a smile on his face. Beers and Barriers in the Great Beyond!!

Shaun Ross

“Shaun “the Boss” Ross is a bad ass. Shaun loves skateboarding, his family and surfing. Unfortunately shortly after his Thrasher intro part and his “Hall of Meat” clip came out, he blew out his knee. So here we are now, all healed up and starting to roll around again.

The Lost Bowl – Virginia, USA

In September of 2010 Richmond DIY’ers lead with the concrete skills of Bernie Mcgrew took it into their own hands to finally build for the skaters of Richmond, VA a city with no skatepark. Starting with an 8 foot (2.4 meter) deep kidney swimmer bowl, the Lost Bowl now boasts a lot of other tranny around the decks of the bowl. The Lost Bowl continues to expand with the help of tons of skaters from RVA and there is no stop foreseen in the near future.
