Osthafen Skatepark – Frankfurt, Germany

The Osthafen Skatepark is really big. The shape of the transitions and other concrete obstacles are nearly perfect. The first time you go there you have to try to explore all the possibilities the park has to offer, because there’s so much to handle. The right side of the park is simliar to a street plaza: curbs, rails, banks, hips, gaps and china banks. The obstacles on the street section are really low and not too good to skate.
On the left side you find a bowl land scape. If you spend some time testing the lines with your hands, you’ll find the flow. There is something for everyone. In the back part, there is a bowl with a loveseat and a corner which has pool coping. In the front part there is another bowl with a full pipe with a similar corner, on the opposite side is a big bank. And don’t forget to hit up the volcano, there you can end the day nicely.

I did four days of crete with Flyramp. Super hot and humid down there and the mud went off super fast… We were on this island, so neat! Ilhabela now has a great Pista de Skate! The hip air is Ulysses Pinna, he’s stoked, lives two blocks from the park, brought us sodies and helped clean up and first sesh ripper. BBQs and waterfall picinas… Everyone there was so happy! Theres’ a photo of the crete haulers too. Passion Fruit trowel, aka Maracuja blade. Saint Lys (Toulouse), France by ZUT skateparks

Saint Lys is a super accessible bowl, perfect to learn to carve with power, perfect to make loud grinds, like all the work we do at with the ZUT CREW, we make the most from the least, from your entrails till your leather, from her womb to her skin, the building of a skatepark is a kind of love-hate relationship, and as hard as it may be to imagine, things made with love, are love…. enjoy dogs…

I used to organize concrete skateparks workshops in Belgium, and we did the same here (http://www.brusk.be/home/spip.php?rubrique19). I met a girl and decided to come back and try to live my life here. It was four years ago now, my Peruvian child is two…
