Lifeblood Skateboards: Unfinished Business – Lockwalski in Japan

Lifeblood Skateboards’ Kevin Kowalski and Cody Lockwood visited Japan in October of 2015 and met up with the Felem Skates crew to tear into an assortment of terrain. It was an amazing adventure skating the sickest spots backed by a genuine hospitality that goes off the charts. Unfortunately, upon their return home several of the recorded digital clips either went missing or ended up stuck on corrupt hard drives…

The End of Summer Bummer – South Park, Colorado

Colorado is home to one of the best skate scenes in the nation, and with that comes a huge network of backyard spots like Harold’s Hideaway in the high Rockies. A whole load of the rippingest folks from all around the state and nation descended on the SBA compound to drink free beer, eat good bbq, and melt faces.

Unheard invitational – Portland, Oregon

Sergej Vutuc was in P-Town to set up a photo exhibition and check out Unheard Distribution’s invitational contest. He took some more “behind the scenes” photos, and he had this to say: “Rad contest…. almost like session… definitely gives special soul to event and great start for future events. The rest you can see and hear in video… one band on loud speakers (slayer) and rad skating. that’s it.”

Lifeblood Skateboards welcomes Josh Rodriguez

He’s been skating upon a solid and strong path of progression over the past two years and his skill speaks for itself. That said, Lifeblood Skateboards is honored and proud to welcome Josh Rodriguez to its team.

Skatehouse DIY – Lewes, England

This all began for me at the luxurious point at which £20,000 of funding had already been secured by a local skatepark development worker, however it became clear that the funders didn’t actually want to part with the money for various reasons and seemed pretty negative when they realised I had half a clue as to how to pull this off!

One Night in Wonderland – Christiania, Denmark

After a few days in Malmö, Sweden for the Ultrabowl, we, along with about 25 other skaters from about five different countries, stopped first at Copenhagen on the way to other skate destinations around Europe. It was this one night in Wonderland where skater crews from all over the world converged in Christiania, and had a session with some Wonderland locals…

Faelledparken skatepark – Copenhagen, Denmark

After the ULTRABOWL IV in Malmö, Sweden, a few different skate tours were underway across Europe, and the first stop on the way to “mainland” Europe is through Copenhagen. There are at least three sick skate spots in Copenhagen, one of which is the semi new Faelledparken skatepark where they had the Copenhagen Pro the last two years. The main two tours that Confusion ran into were LIFEBLOOD skateboards and the INDEPENDENT Trucks, but in addition there were a couple renegade tours passing through…

GREAT DESERT POOL DUEL – Palmdale, California

Normally I hate skate contests. In California most skate contests are held in skate parks. While the terrain in California skate parks may be ok, skate parks seem to only exist to keep skateboarders concentrated in one area so to make it easier city officials to keep an eye on skateboarders. Add to the mix too many people, pad nannies, fences, and the like, I prefer to keep as far away from contests as possible.
