I don’t know them but I start to love them too.
The Urban Day Ripollet Bowl Party went down on July 6th, 2013 at Ripollet skatepark on the outskirts of Barcelona, Spain. Sponsored by Hey Ho Bar, September Wheels, Gypsy skateboards, Hoax, Converse, Osiris, Ace Trucks, Muckefuck, Warriors skateboards, Servant Footwear, and Maccaroni Distribution. A fun day in the sun with lots of free skate products, clothes and shoes for all the winners, and everyone was a winner this day!

This bowl is ready now. It´s the first decent bowl we built since starting Yamato Living Ramps and it was a challenge for sure.
The PFK SKATE SUPPORT CENTER is in a town called Itoshima, Fukuoka Kyushu which is on the western island of Japan. The skatepark was built by a group of skateboarders and punks that are friends. We are taking the form of a recycling based non-profit organization. PFK SKATE SUPPORT CENTER keeps an independency that does not belong to any other Japanese scene and which returns profits to skateboarders directly by building a skatepark.
Alis have every year been a part of Distortion – first in Wonderland and then later at the street parties around the city. This year it moved to the habour side to be able to accommodate the big crowd, so they asked if we wanted to join in with some fun and off course we did.
We created La Kantera Pool Service – Iñigo Rica, Sendoa Altonaga, Manuel Olagorta, and myself, Borja Casas. We repaired the coping of the banks, changed the stones to create new spots and we put pool coping in one corner and one ramp. The ramp’s name is Carabobo. We repaired holes and painted it and now it is really good to skate!

Every year the Fiesta des Ursulines somehow marks the beginning of the skateboarding summer season in Brussels. However, the weather isn’t always on our side. But beer is a good alternative to missing sunlight, and we Belgians know how to make up for it. Our top animator Phil was at his best as usual, dressed as a womenly kinda joker. All-in-all the event was a great success, gathering skaters, rockers, groupies, mom’s and dad’s, kiddies, punks and hipsters. The gigs around the bowl were rad and the skaters hit it hard during the session. So fuck the weather and let’s skate!
