Lohse Ramp Party 2013 – Köln, Germany – June 29th, 2013. There was a contest. The Schöne Hubätz played afterwards. Good times… I don’t remember who won.
The hall existed since around 2008, after the owner of the house allowed skateboarding in the empty building. It all started with small basic obstacles, like curbs. Nothing special, because nobody thought that we could stay for such a long time there.

It was the second time these kids organized this event and it was already twice as big as last year. A really nice sunday afternoon with loads of good vibes!
Ever since the old funbox in Hagen-Haspe got torn down the park needed a new main obstacle. With the Help of Klaas Kleinschmidt, from the Skateboard e.V. of Hagen, Ur-Haspe local Andre Neubert, and myself, we got the chance to give the park a little make over.
The Italian scene seems as rich and happy as the country seems poor and in deep shit. So when I saw the murder bowl contest ad, my bag was ready.
Maurizio Dayan, Jaime Mateu from Mallorca, Oier Zabala and Borja Casas from Algorta went on a rainy day search the full pipes in a factory near Algorta. Only looking for some fun and to skate these awesome pipes, they went to the factory and skated. This is the true love of skateboarding.
The Best of Both is a wooden bowl contest that takes place every year for the last four or five years. The first day the skating is in the downstairs Factory Bowl, and the second day upstairs in the OMSA Pool which is a wooden replica of a real backyard pool.
