Fiesta Des Ursulines – 2014 – Bruxelles, Belgium

Fiesta Des Ursulines is a renegade community event that takes place at Square Des Ursulines in the middle of the city of Bruxelles each year. Conceived by the Brusk collectif who also organized and built the skatepark, the Fiesta des Ursulines is not only a skateboarding event, but also focuses on culture, food, beer, silkscreening, photo exhibitions and social events such as dressing up in animal costumes or face paintings and going across the street to entertain the old people living in the retirement home.

The BFH Video – A full skate video amateur from Brussels

The BFH Video is the full Dechka’s (Kamil Sienkiewicz) project. His first two full skate videos were released under the name Sweet Skating 1 & 2, then, for not making a trilogy, he decided to change the name for the third video. After some visits by the whole crew in hospitals and big delays in filming, the name Back From Hospital was found.

Fiesta Des Ursulines 2013 – Bruxelles, Belgium

Every year the Fiesta des Ursulines somehow marks the beginning of the skateboarding summer season in Brussels. However, the weather isn’t always on our side. But beer is a good alternative to missing sunlight, and we Belgians know how to make up for it. Our top animator Phil was at his best as usual, dressed as a womenly kinda joker. All-in-all the event was a great success, gathering skaters, rockers, groupies, mom’s and dad’s, kiddies, punks and hipsters. The gigs around the bowl were rad and the skaters hit it hard during the session. So fuck the weather and let’s skate!

Fiesta Des Ursulines 2012 – Bruxelles, Belgium

The Fiesta Des Urulines is a crazy day of eccentricity that takes place in the heart of Brussels in Belgium once a year. Organized by the Brusk (is dead) collective, this skate-music party is a full day fiesta combining concrete bowl skating with music ranging from punk to rock n roll to jazz and electro along with silkscreening demos, organic food, specialty belgium beers, a grafitti session, and another skate session on the D.I.Y street course which was built the day before along with a full wooden shack sun shade 0 star sleeping accommodation.

Porte de la Muette: Paris Concrete Bowl

How can a Bowl be transformed from a certified piece of shit into a deep and sweet reason to visit Paris? Skater wise naturally you’d say that it is alway good to ride those smooth sidewalks they get here and to jam (sometime literally!) into the traffic of the big avenues. But after sometime you can be bored of some of the humans living in Paris… ego trip on any levels can be really disturbing for a good ride. And you suddenly realize that there is nearly no tranny in town, this fact finally leads you to leave town in search of a good pool to fill your addiction to adrenalin.

Brusk Collective / Consolidated Skate Team in Brussels/Belgium

This Saturday, May 8th, is the Fiesta Des Ursulines, in the Square des Ursulines in Brussels, Belgium.
This event celebrates Brusk Collective’s success of their social-urbanistic project of creating the bowl in the Square des Ursalines 4 years ago.
Consolidated team rider’s SEAN GUTIERREZ, DANGER & ROBERTO ALEMAN will be skating it up between punk bands, local Belgium Beer tastings, fireworks with an “anarchistic” live band.
