DIY Skateplaza Resthof Steyr – Upper Austria

The Skateboard Plaza Resthof, located in steyr/upper-austria, was created during the year 2012 by local skateboarders and friends. Our main goal was to create skateboard ramps which fit our needs.

My girlfriend Anna sunbathing as we finish the first pour of the summer. Notice T-Mo's unfinished graffiti post on the top left of the pool. That guy is cut for life.

Hermann’s Hole DIY – Missouri

“I guess I’ll start with Thrasher Skate Rock…. I thought because my place is in the middle of nowhere… that very few people would show up on a Monday night. But I was wrong.. The weekend was full of skating, creating and positive energy, until Thrasher showed up…” – JP Kraus

Hagen-Haspe skatepark make-over – Germany

Ever since the old funbox in Hagen-Haspe got torn down the park needed a new main obstacle. With the Help of Klaas Kleinschmidt, from the Skateboard e.V. of Hagen, Ur-Haspe local Andre Neubert, and myself, we got the chance to give the park a little make over.

CONS SPACE 001 BCN – Barcelona, Spain

On my way to Barcelona to infiltrate as a double agent: working for a big multinational as an artist and at the same time working as photojournalist for this almighty underground skateboard magazine. Self-portrait taken inside the train bathroom. Fuck airports and their tight-ass regulations. In the train I can bring a pair of big scissors, a knife, a skateboard and lots and lots of liquids.

Last year came out new polish skateboard movie Grey Area. Everybody was super hyped. Dirty spots, DIY concrete and creativity on board. We interviewed Kuba Kaczmarczyk, the guy behind the whole thing, to ask some haunting questions.

The Ianire Elorriaga interview

Ianire is one in a million, a golden girl, a female who always skated because she loves it, a daring chica that swims against, anti fashion, for Iani, no time passes – she’s still able to win international championships with a humility worthy of praise…. Ianire is definitely special.
