Faelledparken skatepark – Copenhagen, Denmark

After the ULTRABOWL IV in Malmö, Sweden, a few different skate tours were underway across Europe, and the first stop on the way to “mainland” Europe is through Copenhagen. There are at least three sick skate spots in Copenhagen, one of which is the semi new Faelledparken skatepark where they had the Copenhagen Pro the last two years. The main two tours that Confusion ran into were LIFEBLOOD skateboards and the INDEPENDENT Trucks, but in addition there were a couple renegade tours passing through including a van of mad Scotsman, then there were the Spanish dudes, a couple Basque rippers, and a few other guys from Portugal, and USA, France and England. To be honest, I was quite confused who was in which van, and who skated for Independent (UK), Lifeblood flow, or who were just along to ride. This is the first session that went down, and that night there would be another session at Wonderland in Christiania, and the following day a session at the Hullet DIY spot in the woods. A few of the guys were broken off already, like Kevin Kowalski with a broken rib from a slam during the Ultrabowl, and Frank Faria had a tweaked shoulder, but the dudes put on their bandages and self medicated themselves, and hit the park.
