People from all over Europe gathered to break down old features and build new ones, all on a voluntary basis, appreciating the beautiful place and its community.
Team Trouble’s little bro, they set up a miniramp in the same club that TT parties go down. Also there was some art on decks and a bit of tattooing. Just all packed in one day instead a whole week.
Long story short: this is something more than just a contest, it’s a family thing, with incredible dedication. Skateboarding as skateboarding should be.
Port Land DIY family put together a new edition of the Freakend party. Three days of rad skating, music playing, silkscreen printing, snake venom drinking and chicken plucking in one of Switzerland’s most famous DIYs.
The rumors on the streets were right! The Warriors were working on a full length last year.
Ten years of tags, drugs and piss. It had enough layers of dirt to keep its distinguished look, and smell, for a while. Just nice enough to let one of the locals imagine what it would look like in a club….
In 2011, when it was obvious that our beloved Bowl de L’ancienne had to be removed, we looked for a new place to move it to. We found a home just beside the indoor skatepark PNS in La Chaux-de-Fonds located in an old slaughterhouse.
