The Beaulieu DIY is an abandonned skatepark built in in 1998 by a group of young dudes from Beaulieu and town council workers in part of an old quarry given to them by the mayor. Over the years, the park has grown thanks to many skaters and lately the Hang-Up crew has been building there and scored a deal with local authorities to be caretakers of the spot.
NorthBrigade is one of the oldest skateparks in Germany, established sometime in the 1980s. About three years ago the locals built the first concrete bowl in Cologne at the far end of the skatepark, called the Owl Bowl. Plans were later made for a full rebuild of the outdated skatepark, finances were put in place and before you knew it, the destruction of the old park was underway…
October 5th, time to say bye to the summer, because winter is very rainy in the Basque Country and the sun and summer are so valued for us.
First chapter of the HEY HO BAR MASSACRE with Andrea Cavaletti, Yeray Escobar and Tino Arena representing Gypsy Skateboarding and Adventure. This event will be held every Tuesday at the store. Kampsa II On Fire is a photo shoot that came up during one of the many filming sessions for the “20 years Kampsa” documentary which will see the light very soon. Thanks to some powerful spotlights, a fog machine and all the Kampsa people, we got a spectacular session.
So we made another skate trip this summer, to the Basque Country! We stayed each night at the beach or near the skatepark and prepared our meals with a barbeque or a gas cooker.
