Habash Skate – a bunch of creatives and craftsmen – invited to the annual Beton Fiesta at the skatepark in Näfels. People from all over Europe came together to build the new feature – a roller to miniramp. It’s the first extension of the park area in the last 10 years.
And it wasn’t just the skatepark that grew this time: more people than ever came by to help out and enjoy the little skate oasis, surrounded by an impressive landscape. Even more showed up for the official opening on the weekend.

The more people become part of the project, the more knowledge, experience, and skills come together – a dynamic that creates a welcoming and vibrant place for everyone.

A few people ran the kitchen and provided food for all the volunteers. The UFO-Bar served delicious drinks and cold brews. Mord Fustang and the Horny Dolphins heated up the skate session with some punky riffs right next to the new spot. DJ Ego took over at midnight and lit up the dance floor.

The traditional pool party on Sunday probably saved a few people’s day. Selaya – a little local startup – even came by with ice cream and cakes. Even the weather was on our side – just the perfect Weekend with the skatefamily.
Thanks to everyone involved – we are more than thankful for all the help and dedication.
Shout-out to all the sponsors for the vigorous support! Doodah, El Tony, Dickies, Glarus Nord, and the Kanton of Glarus – this event wouldn’t be possible without you. Thanks a lot!
