« Hey Jey, we are screwed, we need a speaker for our Halloween Jam at La Bifurk! Are you down?! »
I don’t really know how to put that into words, without being « cancelled » but…

By day, it lives as a pit stop for those seeking employment and headrest central. A rainy-day safe haven. And by night it’s a nocturnal hideaway the destitute grip as a concrete congregation section. The Home Depot DIY in Los Angeles has been embraced by many, but there’s one group who calls this glass shard setting home once a year in the wee hours, Less Than Local.
Last October 11th, the Tournament took place, organized by Cruzade skateboards and the guys from Ramputene DIY, the venue where it was held. For those of you who know the Tournament, it’s not easy to explain… Pure skating, a lot of hype, tricks and more tricks, laughter and more laughter… The Tournament is held to raise money to buy cement for the DIY shop itself, and above all, to get together and have a great skating session….
This documentary series is a timely response dedicated to grassroots activism and policy discourse.
YI-WO is a prayer, a habitual ritualistic gaze into the depths of the vast unknowable. YI-WO is a celebration of very purposely selected forms of the connective water sliding pursuits. This is where we requested permission to build a skatepark.
The goal was to organize something simple and within our means. So we planned a day full of skating at the spot, stuff for tricks, a flea market, tattoos, drinks, and food — as the foundation for a get-together to celebrate this silly little culture of ours.
I made it to the Bernside Fest this time. My girlfriend and I came a day early, and had a blast enjoying a full Bern experience all week-end long (merci Mischler). Rosengarten promenade, followed by a cocktail at Bellevue five stars hotel for breakfast.
Haters will say another last Beast Feast has been ruined by rain. We say, no one can handle water as well as us. Bold statement you reckon? Well, you should ask the 12,000 person rave to us. They drowned while we were dancing in the mud to Suicide Catdoors…
For the expansion of the spot since the year before with crews from @beaulieudiy, @barbecuediy, and the guys from St. Jean de Maurienne (skate&create) the place is a private spot where events will be organized every year…
