Iberian Peninsula skate trip

Words + photos: Nicola Debernardi

Last summer I went on holiday in the Iberian Peninsula. There are more places than just Barcelona to visit  there. The people are very nice and every place I went I met rippers!

Alicante

In a very warm day I went around with the boys from the Picnic Skateshop. Honza and Martin brought me with the van to a few spot around Alicante, together with a few more skaters: Alex Stoicheciu, Levi Sanz and Ruben Macia.

I have a meeting with Diego Doural in San Sebastian. The plan was to go to a DIY mini ramp built in the middle of nature, in the countryside near the sea. We drove to the place, which is almost on the border with France. The DIY is built at the bottom of a small valley on the property of Aitor Perez aka Fliustas. The ramp was built by Enrique Barrio, Aitor Bengoetexea, Patata, Pablo Ribera, Alvar Gutierrez, Alex Irigoyen, Hector Heredia and Aitor Perez himself in 2012. See more pictures from the session at www.confuzine.com/2014/08/15/concrete-countryside-mini-ramp-basque-country/

Pagola skatepark

Almost every night session in this awesome skatepark, when the sun is shining, with some great food, chilling with all the homies in San Sebastian.

And before we headed back home, Diego, Wouter Bosch and I went to check this sick private DIY built in Irun.
