Cholo’s Bowls – Hawaii

Cholo’s Bowls are permission pools that sit deep in the foliage off the Kings Highway. Billy Fortier is one of the OGs since the start of these amazing bowls and works at said Mexican food dinning establishment. These bowls are strategically placed in between coconut trees and mosquito breeding grounds. Permission pools mean that only a select few who are ‘in the know’ are allowed to skate. The two bowls consist of a small shallow right hand kidney and a larger mickey mouse amoeba nestled up against each other like a skatepark you would draw on your schoolbook as a kid.
